ELI REZIK

Eli Rezik is a director and VFX artist with over 15 years of experience in the movie-making industry. He began his career at 17 as an assistant on local movie sets before studying Cinema & Television – Writing and Directing at Tel Aviv University, where he received his B.A. in 2016. After graduation, he pursued his interest in VFX and studied at the IAC.

Throughout his career, Rezik has directed several short films and worked as a VFX general artist on several feature films, including the Oscar-nominated film "Omar" (2013), "Villa Touma" (2014), "This Beautiful Fantastic" (2016), and the Oscar-nominated film "The Stranger" (2021). He has also directed music videos for the Palestinian hip-hop group DAM and other Palestinian artists.

Rezik's work often explores themes of identity and community, particularly concerning Palestinian identity. His latest film, "Borek" (2020), delves into the complexities of Palestinian identity as experienced by those living within Israel and those who have left or been forced to leave.

Rezik currently focuses on freelance directing and utilizes his storytelling and visual effects skills to bring a unique approach to his projects.
